Just be sure it is Seagate, Maxtor or Western Digital. Some are either/or USB and Firewire. Plug and play...you won't notice a difference either way.

Maxtor has been good to me. I have one of the first external one touch drive of theres. Its been a complete gem. Like others have said though. Seagate bought them out.
